SHOW WORK by including a brief explanation about why each number is or is not divisible.  Use your divisiblity rules handout, your notes for Lesson 4.1 (on notebook paper), and Lesson 4.1 in your book to help you.

-Prime and Composite Numbers (lesson 4.1)
-Sieve of Eratosthenes

HW:
Finish Sieve of Eratosthenes using colored pencils for 2, 3, and 5.  Use regular lead for all the other numbers.  When you finish crossing off the multiples, all the prime numbers should be circled.

Monday, 8-20

-Check 3.1 Practice C and Problem Solving
-Lesson 3.2 ppt and NOTES--Use your notes to help with HW.
- Begin WS 15 and 19  REMEMBER COMPATIBLE NUMBERS ARE NUMBERS THAT ARE CLOSE AND HELPFUL.  THEY MAKE YOU SMILE:)

-Finish WS 15 & 19  (I changed the directions for 11-12 to estimate to the nearest whole number.  Students were asked to make these changes on their papers.)
