We will finish the Angle and Polygon test tomorrow, so anything that gave you trouble today, you will want to review and practice tonight.
-5th grade Geometry Review WS (front and back)  Due Friday.  You can ask questions tomorrow if needed.

TEST TOMORROW!!!  Study the review and study guide ws, your foldable and the student learning map for angles and polygons--dilation and scaling will not be on the test.

-Study Guide (1-62---skip 46-48)
-I passed out Mathathon info to students who were interested in raising money for St. Jude and earning extra credit in math.

Classwork:
-Check and correct HW
-Symmetry Lesson 8.11--- p. 459 (1-8)
-Rotational Symmetry foldable and notes
-Congruent/Similar Lesson 8.9--foldable and notes

HW:
-p. 464 (1-10)
-Do the back of the Transformation Foldable--Problems 1-3: Draw the lines of symmetry or write none.

Wednesday, 1-23-13
Classwork:
-Check and Correct HW--Students may redo the assignment for a new grade is they want.
-Finish Exterior Angle Lab and turn in for a grade
-Transformations Lesson Foldable (8.10)

HW:
p. 455 (1-15)--For problems 4-5 and 9-14, draw the picture from the book and label it with a 1. Then apply the transformation, draw it, and label it with a 2. (Like we did in class on the foldable.)  Don't worry about your artwork, but make sure your shape is recognizable.

Tuesday, 1-22-13
Classwork:
-Review Polygons-Interior Angles and finish lab
-Polygons-Exterior Angles Lab

HW:
-p. AT11 (1-8) Remember the sum of the outside angles is 360 degrees.  For #5-8, just find the missing angle---Ignore 3x and just find the measurement of the angle.
-Make sure the lab sheets for Interior and Exterior Angles are complete.  On the Exterior Angles Lab, we will finish the last row on the chart and the last 2 questions in class tomorrow.  Everything else should be complete.
