Classwork:
-Checked HW
-We spent the entire class period making sure the exam review was corrected and answered any questions about problems missed. Most students used their time wisely and really prepared for the upcoming exam.  Way to guys!!!

HW:
STUDY!!  Remember to study for a math exam you have to put a pencil to the paper!!  I suggested that everyone redo the problems on the exam review on a sheet of notebook paper.  Students should have the correct answers and solutions (how to work the problem) from class last week.

YOUR FIRST EXAM EVER IS MONDAY IN MATH CLASS!!

-Independent Practice Time-Student could work on any math work from this quarter and get my help individually. (Ratio test corrections, Exam Review corrections, or 7.9/7.10 WS)

HW:
-Make sure you correct the problems you missed on the Ratio Test.  The scantron tells which problems you missed and the white copy of the test tells you the problem.
-Exam Review (26-45) SHOW WORK
Remember problem 30 is wrong--130 g should be 32 ounces and convert it to pounds, not kg. 1 pound = 16 ounces.

Tuesday, 9-25
-Check and correct HW
-Returned Ratio Test--Students should practice the areas they missed on the test by completing problems similar to those on the test.  Use the SL map and the scantron to locate the correct section of the text book for help.  When students can show they are prepared to retake a portion of the test, they can retake the section of the test during study hall.
-Lesson 7.9 Percent of a Quantity--WS with notes and sample problems

Monday 9-24
-Notes on Lesson 7.7 and 7.8
-Begin Percents 5th Grade Review
-Return Friday's test

Multiplication Retake will be Tuesday, 10/2.  Make sure you are ready!  If you need to retake a portion of Decimal and Fraction Basics test, please be prepared and retake it by 9/28.

Study for test-Use the review to help you study.  The test looks almost exactly like the review.  Also use your notes from class, your text book, and your student learning map.
